If you are expecting a new baby in the coming year, many congratulations to you!  I am beginning the year with much excitement and joy.  My kids are almost 5 years and 15 months old.  They are teaching me every day how to be a mindful, joyful, and patient person.  As a doula, I will still be taking a few clients, but not many.  The main focus for me professionally right now is with my classes.  There are some cases in which I will take clients, however.  I have a list of wonderful doulas that I can refer you to, so please contact me and I’ll forward that right away.

I still very much have my finger on the pulse of the most wonderful services around for prenatal, and postpartum mamas.  If I can help provide any information for you, I’d be delighted.  You can email me at mail@marcelabillig.com  .

Being a doula for about 11 years has taught me many things.  I have come to know that each birth is unique and special in its own way.  I appreciate that women and their families go through a tremendous amount of shifting when they are welcoming a new baby, and can use support!

The feeling of being transformed by my work has brought me great joy.  I am very grateful for a vocation which uses many of the abilities that I have to offer.  My own experience as a mom also greatly informs my work.   

During this first year of my baby daughter’s life I will be taking a limited amount of clients.  If you are interested in talking more, just email and I will let you know about my availability.  I have a list of other doulas who I love to recommend if I’m not available.
